  1. Cool twodoor  but, Looks like there was some disagrement with the stylists at the design department . Back in 1958 they picked a piece of paper out of a hat with the name of the body panel that they had to design. Headlight guy and tailfin guy finally had it their way . Front fender guy did,nt care .

  2. Believe it or not, this one is actually saved, and back on the road again ! 20211225_102228.jpeg

  5. That money would be better spent on restoring this '58 "Packard"

  6. I do love the fishmouth packards, so oddball they're cool. Though I must say the taillights/fins on that one aren't nearly as cool

When did these trucks have the V/8 stamped into the hood instead of the Ford script? Is this a Mercury truck? Very interesting.

The trucks that were bigger than the pickup had this style front end in 1940. That truck looks like a 122" Express model. Cool truck!

There's enough of that Overland left to build a modified, pretty cool for a doodlebug.

Well, here’s a couple more. A friend passed away unexpectedly and these were part of what was behind the garage. My buddy scored the 49 Chevy Sedan Delivery and can’t remember who got the (very rough) 40 Tudor. 502F3BEF-3090-4127-8FDC-9E2C3D9659A9.jpeg 5EB4D624-F3EA-4F80-959D-684256D7CAAF.jpeg A3FBB2FA-8364-4824-92C2-A3DE3C6E8A43.jpeg 700C339E-CF22-4C23-A571-F191D18759B9.jpeg

Turtle deck racer with the pushbar welded on the back in the first pic is also interesting. And the Chev sedan (41?) behind the delivery looks like an old custom that had quad headlights grafted in. Your friend had good taste.

The sedan is actually a 41 Buick Special and has the optional , and very cool, dual carb (compound carburation) set-up. A prior owner must have been channeling George Barris when he attempted to graft the 58 Chevy quad headlights. This is the only car that’s left and it’ll be for sale when I get back to NY in the Spring.

The grille bar in that '54 above is still worth grabbing.
