Found while hiking in the woods near Seward Alaska. 49-51 Ford in first pic, not sure what the second one is?

 

My Dad had a 1960 Rambler American 4 door. It was ugly as sin and had a crappy, small, 6 cylinder engine. They probably should have been scrapped back then !

Is it? What is so special about it?

 

It's just a regular '57 Ford truck grille, but regular '57 Ford truck grilles are really expensive. I feel like that whole truck would be worth rebuilding though, due to it's unique/strangeness and also there seems to be a newfound love for big industrial looking trucks these days.

 

One year only 1957 Ford truck. Headlight rings and emblem are a bonus

 

I "saved" this one about 15 yrs ago. I was told it had been in this yard about 30 yrs. A lot of people consider it a rat, but it's been on the road since '09 and I still like driving it. 39,000 miles so far.

Studes, plural... When I drove off I noticed there's another one behind it, facing the opposite direction.

 

This one appears to have a pretty nice subfloor. I wouldn’t have expected that for Michigan

 

Here's a '29 model A 4-dr that had been sitting for close to 50 years. Brought it home yesterday for parts.

 

Wonder if they have a Title for it ? !!

Still has the critical B pillar pieces necessary for a 2 door conversion, plus I see a dash frame, steering column, paint dividers, and probably a handful of other useful pieces. If I had access to this car, I'd still get it and strip it.

 

Way too straight and solid for yard art status. Other side was just as good.

 

Came across this yesterday during a back country drive. It’s a Chev of some sort.
