Saw this one last weekend at the swap meet part of a show.
When we moved to San Francisco in 1956, the first hot rod that I saw was a channeled Oldsmobile powered, primered, oval windowed Plymouth.
the Plymouth is at my place now and the bel air will be soon. Saved them from the scrap man
It won't be long till 4 doors will be all that's left to build and are being left to rot in many cases. JW
Couple from a walk about today.
Saw these on the way to York last weekend.
More from the same place
Not sure where.
My sister-in-law had a station wagon just like that. The same color green, too. 6 Cylinder Power-glide. It had trouble getting out of it's own way. Very scary to drive in highway traffic.
they are way past fixing but I can’t stand to see good parts get crushed.
I wasn't meaning just those but all 4 doors. JW
This Still just pisses me off.... what a waste
Back axle seems to have moved forward a few inches, maybe somebody installed one from a shorter wheelbase car (I think they were torque-tube drives) or maybe somebody started an AWB project?

Spotted this Chevy a few days ago in a small ranch town in eastern Oregon. It's in the boneyard of their local history museum.
Some kind of seeder, perhaps (???), with a boom made from a tree trunk.
Note the offset rear wheels (both sides), presumably for oscillating action.
Clown car for parades. Who wants to ride the bull ?
Thats really what it looks like. From a time where people didn't want to sue everyone for any reason. No way that would ever fly in today's world.
Well, that would certainly explain the pink paint.
Man, I wish I could save most of 'em! I need a bigger garage.... and more disposable income....
Wasn't in the auction but forgot to ask factory a/c or was.
Yes a Dodge - Victory 6 I think it said - no bids reserve I think was $2500
There were two ranch wagons that had a high reserve and no bids. It was on-line with a pre-view day.
Someone stuck that roof on the Buick??
For sure, this car did not leave the Buick factory with that top on it.
