The yard owners are good people and I would like to see as much old tin saved as possible, rather than knowing it got crushed and made into new cars. Besides I can’t use everything

  5. Thanks for sharing.....that wagon doesn't look bad from this side - is that a little roof rot or my eyes ?

Sorry, I didn't take a close look. If I had the time the taillights could of been had for $15 each. Slight pitting.... rare peices.

Dang it. I'd love the tub off that one. I've got a cab chassis for potential nostalgia drag duty.

I,ve got similar plans for my A40. the tub is all aluminium skin with light steel skeleton and wheel tubs.
Not difficult to build one. Give us a shout if you need measurements.

Looks like the passenger side windshield post, and part of the cowl / dash has been cut out. Too bad, otherwise the wagon looks pretty good.

  14. Don,t be fooled by the aluminium ( aluminum :D) tub. It,s a heavy unit, even without the wooden floor. Heres the rock solid A40 ute that i found in Spain about 20 years ago. Became a gasser in the U.K. I also had a A70 Hampshire ute that came from Denmark. Sold that to the U.K. as well . BTW, every A40 ute i have ever seen has the same angle-iron rear bumber and tailgate hinge.

Nice one 34Gaz, mine has a rusty floor but otherwise solid. Will modify firewall and tunnel for gasser duty.

20210323_123341.jpg 20210323_124144.jpg 20210323_131100.jpg Kinda saved this one today. Now it can sit and rot at my place until I figure out a plan.

Wow, I never knew you could get bumper wings on a Canadian Dodge, looks like rear only, which makes sense since they wouldn't fit on the Dodge style front bumper. But those rear bumper ends are worth some pretty serious coin. The whole car looks very restorable, in fact.

I agree, the wheelbase is a bit short.

I like the 67 Chevy pickup that’s on the lift/rack. Hope it gets saved.
