Some more from Israel. Pic by Zeev Itay, and I have no further info other than that it's obviously down south.

I don't remember too many V-8 Mainlines.. Wasn't that a salesman's car.. That's amazing its still there like that. Imagine how nice that area once looked when all that wood was painted and cleaned up, that's some nice looking wood work..

I'd love to see what it looks like once it's out, how much is left. What year is that Ute? Does the owner plan to try to build it, or just digging it out for fun?

I think they started out cause the pub was shut, it’s about half way out now, I’ll dig up a pick in a while.

Wow, a lot more left than I would have guessed! This car, pulled out, would make the most satisfying power-washing video ever.

    Daddy,

I'd love to see some more pictures of that blue Galaxie if there are any. That looks like it could be pretty tough.

One more from Israel (pic by Orry Geva). Somewhere near Jerusalem, cars are for sale after many years the owner sat on them but he wants dream prices I hear. The usual sad story.

Wonder if the engine would turn over? Tires still holding air?:p

Thats all i could get. They are behind a buisness, next to a gas station. I have a sneeking suspicion it may end up on the street this summer though.

This car is in a Twilight Zone-ish, space-vortex, shape-shifting wrecking yard just outside of Dallas. When I told a guy that worked there that it seemed like everything changes every time I go there, he smiled and said "I know."
Once when I was looking for 15" Chevy wheels, I had seen one in the backseat of a '53. He went with me to measure it and we walked by where I saw it 3 times and couldn't find the car. He went on to his truck and I turned around to look one more time. It was right where we walked by...

  24. Lots of good stuff left on the F1 Ford panel in the woods near Gadsden AL. Back doors if nothing else. Taillights for the F1 and the '53-'56 F-100 panel trucks are the same as '41 Ford car. My wife is from Gadsden AL.

I've never seen anything like the red and white one. Find a company that does title work on cars and check the laws. I blew it up to see the plate (New Mexico). The cars might be considered legally abandoned.
PS: Didn't see the kitty till I blew it up.
    PS 2: Re: "company" -
Or they might find the owner(s) through the VINs.

  28. Rotting away along the bank of Carr Creek in Blount County, Tennessee - my wife just happened to spot it as we rounded a sharp curve on a very narrow county road - it was so far away that the zoom on my smartphone camera could barely make it large enough to be distinguishable.

It does look kind of defensive.
