There is a guy in town that pulled a lot of 49-51 mercs 59 Chevy convertible and bunch of Buick’s and caddy’s out of this yard in 95-96. My merc was one of them. Had to replace the frame and floor in it. Badly rusted out.[IMG]

Someone needs to rescue this 33 3/W Jalopy! Lots of work to jack that roof back in place and fab sail panels, but it's savable. Still has a floor w/ seat tracks so it may be sitting above water line.
Shame some of those good cars were parked in a swamp.

  9. Looks like the transmission is still in it. I think I see a shift handle....or a twig that just looks like a handle....lol.

Doesn't look like it has a frame, probably no transmission in it, so yeah, I'm sure that is a "stick" shift you're seeing!

No frame. The body was sitting on a couple hoods keeping it out of the swamp.

 Someone get some swim gear on and pull some of those out. There's still a lot of good metal there. For patching etc.

  26. But I would bet the metal is pretty thin.

  27. That's funny......I took that pic, and posted it on this thread several years ago......
FWIW, I had a '32 sedan that was pulled from the same area years ago. Just rust molecules holding hands......even the parts above the waterline.
