    Early Ironman

The 54 Chevy that I am building now. Where it sat at my grandfathers farm for about 20 years.

Finally stopped and took a pic of this olds.
It's been sitting here my entire life and up until recently the yard was overgrown. They cleaned up all the overgrown trees and bushes and planted grass to sell the house but haven't touched the car.

Now is the time to ask, if you are interested. The good stuff is probably in the barn, asking about the olds may get you in the door to find out about those too.

Yep. You best jump on that right. I've had too many "one of these days I'm gonna ask" into a "where'd the car go? Thought it'd always be here waiting for me"

Nailhead A-V8, that '35 5 window I posted was completely rusted out on the left side, you can see it in the pic below the first one. Apparently it had spent a good amount of time lying on it's side. That said, that whole yard got crushed out several years ago, some kind of dispute between the owners. Sucks because there was some cool shit in that yard.....

These were sitting on the side of the road in Louisiana. Saw them on a trip this weekend. Bunch of old Studebaker's IMG_20170430_173238178.jpg IMG_20170430_173207830.jpg IMG_20170430_173116724.jpg IMG_20170430_173238178.jpg IMG_20170430_173207830.jpg IMG_20170430_173116724.jpg
  11. That looks to be a 1931 Plymouth coupe with a 1931 Chrysler 8 cylinder car tail end with the two reveals below the lid. You can see the detail on this roadster.... 1931 Chrysler CD8 roadster.jpg

I asked the owner one last time if he would sell me the car, His response "I'm going to fix it" it's been 7 years since i first saw her. His 28 year old daughter told me it's been there for over 15.
For now she's sitting and rotting.[IMG][IMG]

Not too far from the above 57 I spotted these two. I spoke to the lady that lives next door, she said they were her father's cars and that her father would take her to school in the 49 Plymouth.

Her Brother now owns the cars and refuses to sell them he says "I'm going to fix them" (sound familiar)[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
For now they're just sitting and rotting

This guy has 3 more 57's in the back, one is a nomad that looks like a cheese grater the other 2 are wagons that can still be rescued. Sorry didn't get pictures on those.

Good thing the windows are out of that 53, so it can rot faster.

  18. I really really like it I keep going back to look at it....wonder how "big" it is comparatively to a ford coupe?
  19. The early Chrysler product coupes are VERY roomy.

Now that picture with the tree is cool. The tree is slowly eating the car, starting with the steering wheel.

Well, the steering wheel may have had wood on it, so the tree is just reclaiming it's own.

^^^^^That is from the restored 30s garage on garage journal. Some body on there said it is an original 3 on the tree. If you haven't looked at that thread you really should it is amazing what he did with the place.
