Not exactly rotting, is it?
Glad I dont have a pole like that going into the mid-section.
Well it's never going to see the road again. It might not be rotting but it is sitting.
My kids found this over the weekend. Does this make the cut. My father in law talked to the owner of the restaurant and was told he got it for free. I will be making my way to see if he will sell. I have to ask.
Since he is using it for period advertising, you might be able to swap him some rustier yard art for the coupe body.
update....the Stude is a little more in the clear.....still can't bring myself to pull it out.....they made a sports field out of the old Garage property....
the Chevy was in the old garage by the Stude and was pulled out and dragged across the street.....in a small town America....is that a lighted hood ordainment
the floors are gone but over all a nice body....last tag was 1963.....
was dropping of a pair of 40 Lincoln fenders I bought/thought were Ford......open gate = fix fence.....guy worked for my dad...remember moving the black three window about 1986....there's another that will make you cry.....I didn't take a pic of 'er.....
That's a good point the old man said he is a nice guy. I can't figure out what make it is the flared rear quarter throws me.
That is a gem. Living in the rust belt that wouldn't last long by me. I don't think the hood ornament is lighted normally they are so faded there is no color left. My 47 fleetline was orange now its white from sitting out side so many years. Cool ride mine is not as nice. Definitely worth saving.
i knew where this car was. was barely visable from the road and had a really sketchy house in front of it out in the mountains in west pa. didnt even wanna walk up on the porch to knock. wonder who got the pic and if it ever got a good home
1930 Hudson, I believe....
Easy bud, that sounds like my place. I like it this way.... Keeps strangers away....
In Anniston Al. area.
Good call that looks like it fits the bill. It's a 3 window could be cool
@stillrunners I sure could use the bumper guard off of that Chevy. Wonder what's gonna happen w the car ...
What is this?
35 Studebaker Dictator 6........(maybe) JW
Good question; it was sent to me with no info attached, other than a location!
Waiting to hear if this Canadian Pontiac is for sale .
I first thought it was an extremely rare 1935 Nash Lafayette but the hood is not right.
A '34 Studebaker Dictator is close, but still not there with the hood.
Maybe it's a hybrid?
I'm not up on my Studebakers, but the grille emblem looks like a Stude, the front frender and body shape are there. Perhaps it's a lesser model or a year earlier?
