Saw these "decorations" a few days ago, sit about 20 foot away from each other. About ran the truck off the road when I came around the corner and saw em! Didn't even ask... Too many irons in the fire anyway...

 

Going back to this one, I just found a photo of a similar '55 taken at a railroad-crossing wreck at View, TX that year:

what were you driving?, I was in an orange 74 maverick.

 

I was just in my regular family truck. Had to park a ways off. I have been going to it since the 60s and knew it was more of a swap meet than anything else so I just took my truck to see if I ran across anything I could use. But I didn't. Just went Saturday only.
I don't remember seeing an orange Maverick but my son might have,he went with me. I will "axe" him.

 

Every time I feel like looking at sad sh*t, I visit this thread....

 

Last I saw it the Vette was in the same driveway with lumber stacked on it, about 1987 or so. Off Thor and 10th in Spokane. It was real. Believe it's gone now. Might find old pics on Google earth.
