Now thats something that I have never seen before. I am not sure if its impressive or obnoxious.
Facebook friend sent it to me. Its sitting in Greece, outside of a Mercedes plant. Had to have been custom built, one off. Like you, I'm on the fence about the styling.
You're all silly, it's awesome!
Is this what Johnny Cash had in mind?
WOW that is one awesome coach! That roof glass is sweet! Looks pretty complete too...
its beyond tight
Here is a nice old chevy
what the hell happened!!!!!
I think thats in it's final phase of sitting and rotting.
Except for having to replace the glass, that should buff out.
Sat and Rotted?
Top chop gone horribly wrong!
Sitting and Rotting has been one of my favorite distractions over the last 6 years or so of lurking this forum.
Here are a couple I've found while walking in the woods. Based on some online searches, I think the camper is a Travel Queen from '58 or so. The Ford has the Mount Hood Meadows logo on the doors. All I know is it was driven up to Canada by the current owner in the late 70s, and appears to have been sitting ever since.
...and the other seems to be a '50-52-ish Chrysler, picked over but the body is almost perfectly straight. Still has intact floor pans, too. Built like a tank!
The old car has been sitting for as long as I have hunted my friend's farm, 20+ years. Then one turkey season rolled around and it looked like the pic I posted earlier, Torn all to heck. I asked him and he said he was selling some scrap by the barns and the fellow picking up the metal tried to scoop up the old chevy and it came apart on him. So they left it just like that. I check it out every year .
Mav dad - The hearse is flat out cool! Cragars, 'flake the roof. How about a white interior?

Sad. I hate scrappers.

Does that hearse only have one tail fin?
Good news, she's been saved. Don't know by whom....
