  11. Guys, remember that this is the HAMB and your postings should be within Ryan's guidelines. That means '65 and earlier, no VW's, muscle cars or the like.

A friend (British car guy) had heard a rumor about some cars in the basement of a defunct car dealership in central Ohio, so we checked it out yesterday. The place was pitch dark in places, with lots of debris on the floor. The blue car is a 1965 Sunbeam Minx. The 1956 Imperial had been there a long time and was not for sale. Literally sitting and rotting. DSC06241.jpg DSC06242.jpg DSC06243.jpg DSC06245.jpg DSC06246.jpg

I think so. It popped up on THAT fb site.

  26. Ive always been a fan of the 55 & 56 fords. seeing the one pictured prompts me to query. To my eye the rear side glass and straight top on the quarters is more poroprtioned on a ford 2 dr post than a chevy. The chevy rear glass looks too big like a transplant from a 54. and that V dip on the tri 5 chev messes up the lines. So im thinking of converting my 56 more door to a two door. Cutting two four door front doors in two and building a slightly longer door than a stock two door sedan door. and using the rear doors of a station to fill the gap between the relocated B pillar and the quarters. That would elemenate that V dip. Is this viable?

Hopped up flatty in a old boat out sitting in a guy's personal junkyard. The story is that a high school shop teacher had his students build it as a school project. It has been sitting out in the elements uncovered for at least 30 years. Has sharp heads and intake with dual 97's.
