There are two sheds that are near the body. I hope the rest of the car is in the sheds.

  4. There's a guy near here that has taken one of these wagons and a two door hard top...you know the story. He put the quarters, doors and everything of the donor onto the wagon to make a two door hard top wagon.

A guy from around here (Northern Colorado) he had a couple total rust buckets for sell, his starting price was $ 3500. I'm sure most of the cars (rust) he bought at the Lambrecht sale is blowing in the wind on I-80 & I-76 between here & there!
They said there 15.000 people at the sale.

  8. I saw it on the local news here in central VA, looked real crowded!

  10. let's not get started on all the Nomads that were cut down....[IMG]

  11. That ain't a Nomad.....

    But still...

    Doesn't look too bad

  12. I think he was trying to curtail the used-to-be-a-Nomad images that are usually posted after other wagon conversions appear... ;)

Great save. Were they only built in the US, as the Nomads were?

Interesting dual side mounts on that 4 door 56 Olds.

  20. This is among the weirdest things I've seen done to a car.

  21. I think there must have been a Bimini top or something over those roof ribs? Maybe a Olds Daktari Rig, the windshield looks like a Jeep fold down? I almost like it ...
