I believe this truck is now a lawn ornament at a business here in Georgetown. I looked again - it is close, but a different bumper.

Is this in your area because it's identical to a Nash I have on a farm in my area, right down the bushes next to it and the missing parts.

Buy it and I'll drag it over! :D

The following 50 or so images were captured yesterday deep in an Appalachian "holler".

Looks like a junkyard but it isn't.

Owner has been a commercial metal scrapper since 1960. Whenever on a job site and there is a car needing cleared as well, he hauls it home and lets it sit. He doesn't scrap nor deal with automotive stuff. Just doesn't want to see vintage iron scrapped (although that doesn't explain all the crap he's dragged home - chalk that up to addiction). No idea what family's plans will be after he passes.

    Sarcasm unnecessary.

Really liked this '57 CDV. Other than door bottom rust, rest was solid (even rear bumper ends). Pretty damn complete and unmolested. This is one that owner should let go, like untold thousands previously in this thread.

Couple years ago so much went to the crushers,,,amazing anything survived..one company here was paying a premium trying to corner the market,,,they bought a crap load of cars/metals and then the price of scrap dropped!

  29. SouthUrn, is he willing to see things go to people that would put things to good use (asking honestly)?

  30. Wish I could get the taillights off that '60 Dodge Seneca wagon. They fit '55-'56 Fords.
