Did you notice the rotting buildings in the background? My first guess might be somewhere in Michigan, but maybe someone else can pin it own better.

I smashed my thumb in the door of a Pontiac just like that first one when I was eight, about 52 years ago. You can still see the damage to the thumbnail...

Wow, there is no god... I'd give my left nut to own any of those...
    Yet they just sit there.
Im really starting to hate the words "gunna fix it up one day"

Here are a few more near my dads farm"

Now who in the hell would want your left nut???? I think you had better come up with money instead.

^ My guess is: some women would.... but thats kind of an odd currency. Not exactly internationally recognized. ;)

Besides, Im sure if I tried to do a currency conversion at a bank; they'd be quite un-interested.

This could be somewhere other than the US, could be Mexico, or Cuba, the possibilities are as endless as the beaches all over the world, there's alot of them.

Here some pictures Of a few river bank cars. They are trash. Even if they were worth saving it would'nt be possible to get em. I first saw these cars around 17 years ago, there are at least 10 more that have been totally covered. [IMG]

You're basically spot on for most, but I thought I'd clear up the rest for you.

Cool stuff, if this was in my area I'd ask the land owner if I could grab all the good bits off of them. (bits of trim etc.)

Nice Limo, looks like it's a Stageway, I have a 59 Stageway that I rescued out of Montana a while back!

Thanks, it was a beauty and took the family everywhere, almost all the way cross country and to Canada several times! 4 doors on each side, mom dad and each of my brothers and sisters had their names on a door, I got my name on the cargo area! (yes all nine of us!) An old slide I found the other day...

What a shame that nomad will probably never be cared for or "gotten to".

    That's pretty cool!

When I was a kid my dads live in GF had 2 daughters, and I have 2 older brothers, and there were always several other people in our extended family that would road trip with us, but we only had a 79 Econoline for our trips, it was great though, now that my dad and I have this 59 Sub Stretch we want to make it into the road trip vehicle and bring as many friends and family as we can!

  28. Willy,

    What's next to the '55 1st Series?

Anyone recognize this old drag car I found in East Texas? Appears to be a 39 Ford.
