If you find old iron tell others so it can be saved cause like it's been said once there gone , there gone forever. If only we could have saved all the great cars and trucks we collectively have seen in fields, ravines, over cliffs etc wow would they have added up!

That's right people, don't keep it a secret like it's your own personal stash, that's how they suddenly end up scrapped...

Wow I sure hope those coupes were saved!! Looks like it would take a chain saw to get them out.

That is one artistic photo...very nice! :)

  12. It'd be work but....remove the front sheetmetal (it'll come off as one huge piece), then CAREFULLY cut out the crossmember and you've got it....with the tree intact.

I'd probably just cut the tree down though...it's probably less than 30 years old....think of it as a 1982 Volvo or something. ;)

That's a Nomad; you should've at least gotten the trim off it and sell it to someone that could use it...

I just did a tour through a 100 car collection yesterday of cars from 30s-60s. The owner also has another 100 car lot that used to be 1000, but he scrapped 900!!! He is selling and has already sold some including a solid '50 Roadmaster Riviera. My friend and I are planning on getting atleast a '50 Olds Rocket 88 sedan and '56 Stude Parkview wagon. I will try to get some pics up this week.

It's a good thing most of these are too far away for me to get, otherwise I'd be digging them out and bringing them home just for the hell of it. More pics!!!!!!!

For some reason this thread makes me feel like I should own an old Cadillac.

Some stuff sitting in a local back yard and in a old pig barn. The primered sedan is a 1928 Pierce Arrow Formal Sedan. The Make dump still gets used

Notice the back of the cab in the 2nd pic....small window!
I thought it was a BW by the looks of the 1st pic too. Thankfully, it's not!
