Technical Simple Question....Engine stand and late flathead V8...

    Is it safe to bolt a complete (fully assembled with water pumps and fan) later 48-53 8RT/49-53 8BA to a standard bellhousing bolt mount engine stand? Is the block casting strong enough?

  5. Yes, and if I recall correctly, SBC head bolts are perfect to use to hold the motor to the stand.
