It's getting to be that time again. The Others! cc presents the 4th annual SIlvercity Shakedown! Saturday June 7th. 10am. Meriden PBA. Maybe it will warm up by then. For those who have not been here-it is a great smaller show (growing every year cause more people have discovered it) that is
in a beautiful spot and The Others do a great job organizing and
running this show. One of my personal faves. Jim

 

thanks jim, it is a small show, average about 130 -150 cars, only because we try to let in only traditional styled hot rods and customs. but it is a great venue, with a large pond, grass field, plenty of picnic tables to eat at and watch the bands. we rent a huge tent for shade. the best part of the show is the great people that come out and support us every year. see ya there.

 

Band line up is on the website along with videos. Vendor spots are filling up. I'll post the show schedule as soon as it's finalized.

o.k. were getting close, only a few days away and the weather is looking fantastic for the whole weekend! 81 and sunny on Saturday, so should be a great turnout, come on by and enjoy the show!

 

Hoping to have the heap there. Currently sitting at DMV with crossed fingers...

Last ones! Great show! Good food / entertainment / Bands. Thanks to the Others for a nice day! Also met a lot of great HAMB guys there today.

 

Great show,beautiful setting. Big enough to hold your interest and small enough to avoid sensory overload. In addition to being able to check out lots of my kind of cars,I had the pleasure of meeting a few fellow Hambers face to face. As for the entertainment,The Balkun Bros. band was especially impressive. Big props to The Others! for making this show possible. I'll be back.

Well the Others got Kr61 "Lurker" to join! Congrats Kr61 on best Custom. Well deserved indeed! Also on joining the HAMB
Thank You The Others for giving me Best Hot Rod. I usually do not pay
too much attention to trophies given out at shows, but getting this one really did mean something to me. The guys in this club get it.
Again thanks for all your hard work at the show and the award. Check out this club built trophy!
Maybe Kr61 will learn how to post a picture of the Best Custom Trophy now that he is a member. Also very nice.

 

I had a great time there. Definitely will be back next year.
