Bridgewater is the opposite Bridgeport . I live in Bridgewater not New Milford Oops, I mean Bridgeport.
Is this where you trade them in for a new model???
What a great coincidence! Two hours after receiving some pics of my grandfather's signwriting I logged onto Jalopy Journal and this thread was staring me in the face... here's a few of them...
Bridgeport has a County Fair?
Check out that phone number!
My wife and I saw this sign this past weekend in Vermont.
Here are 3 of our vintage signs. The "W" is metal and from an F.W. Woolworth's store. It is 48" wide and 20" tall. The W.S. Williams sign is a little over 9 feet long and done on one walnut board. The Furniture Repairing sign is painted on tin with a wooden frame.
One I finished yesterday!
There used to be a local nursery just east of my home town. There is a sign for it hanging in one of the antique stores downtown. Owner will not sell it.....so I made my own.....wife loves it. Gary
Here are afew more of mine. Barber pole is a Beardly wind up.
So are you taking orders? U could sell a bunch of those hamb signs from the first post. Hint hint
I will have some signs with me at Hershey! C4J-36 Stop by and take a look, or just say hello and have a beer.
We are rolling into Hershey late Weds night. First time to go. I will look you up. We have a space from a buddy of mine in Chocolate field, can check number tonight.
Mark, great signs to say the least. Thanks for sharing. Here are some of mine in my shop office. It's really nice to see all of these old signs saved.
That Bread sign is killer!
Man that seems like along time ago. I was just starting to do signs then! That was a great visit. And how did you get Brenda to marry you?
Just for you Mark, they also had this give a way when a certain amount of bread was bought. I don't have the boat, not my pay grade.
How cool is that? Do you have the model, or just the box? Thanks! Let me know when you want to sell it!
Don’t have the boat, more money then I want to spend. Lots of guys want it.
A couple of more I just did!
Damn Mark, those are cool as hell !
should be on my garage door.
Signs keep me looking for more signs!
Very cool 1933BOB.
