The Old Crow / sunset shot you posted above belongs in a museum.

    Thanks.

If Bobby Green was a REALLY hard core hot rodder, he would have used a milk truck wheel for the base of that "Tank Crossing" sign!!! ;-)

    ha ha.

Nice meeting you in the pits Coop!

Man. You've got a heavy trigger finger. Fantastic trip. Fantastic shots.

Kid Rock killed me. He heated up those spaghettios with....um..........the sun. Too ba most of them ended up on his shirt. Endless entertainment I tell you, endless.

Thanks to everyone! The Bonneville salt flats, like El Mirage, are so stark and beautiful that it makes anybody look like a great photographer. You could park a Chevette out there and it would look cool.

Tech stuff: I was shooting with a Leica Digilux 3, using the Leica lens as well as an Olympus/Zuiko 8mm fisheye that I bought specifically for Bonneville. I was shooting a little underexposed, then color correcting in Photoshop. I also used a polarized filter to cut the glare from the salt, after a few days.

Yeah, Kid Rock and his minibike gang were like our own personal Banana Splits! He passed out, with tomato sauce on his shirt, right after I took those photos.

Johnny Sparkle is offended that you do not have enough pictures of him. Of course he was in hiding most of the time because it is obviously not easy being Johnny Sparkle.

Here is my best pic of Megan. Ha Ha Ha

Like vampires and baby pigeons, Johnny Sparkle's image cannot be captured on film.

That picture of Megan looks like a screengrab from a "Girls Gone Wild" DVD. I can almost hear the steel drums playing in the background...

Thanks for the camera info, I think it is my new dream camera after pulling it up on line and reading about it and seeing your pictures. Of course I realize it is not all camera alone the photographer deserves credit too for such great shots. I am saving my pennies ;)
