Holy sh%% another intro. Another guy from Mi. My first real Hot Rod i bought back in 1954 so that gives away my age. i have had many old cars sence that first one. 34 Ford pu with a 283 sbc chopped 3 inchs, 47 Pontiac convt stright 8 with split manifold, 40 studabaker champion that i put a 57 cad engine in,50 Ford pu i put a 390 cad in that, 78 chev pu i put a 500 cad in that. Yes i like the cad, 300 hp stock, Fried alot of back tires. i also raced motorcycles for a few years. So listen i dont want to tell you guys how to build your rides because i see from your posts and photos you are doing a good job. My only advice is build it safe, one of my Grand kids might be in it someday. As for my progect now i have a 35 Ford pu with a 53 Merc,Edelbrock heads, tri power,3 94s 39 trans , juice brakes, black primer and if you ever see it on a trailer call the Law because someone is stealing it. i drive it dailey weather permitting. So you guys think you are ever going to get these old cars out of your blood forget it.You are HOOKED So have FUN. L.B.

Really i only live about 35 miles from Caro, in fact i worked in Caro for a few years. i live in Bay City. Been lurking around the HAMB for about a year, i thought i might as well jump in on the fun. i like to listen to the way things are being doon to the cars today and compare them to the way we did it in the 50s, and i got to say its pretty dam close. Anyway we could get a little more speed out of the old Fords was what we were after with what little money we had. 8-Ball
