Just finished this today. A buddy helped me hang it and the good news is that neither of us fell off the ladder

While I must admit I'm also one with several artifacts gracing my garage walls, however, after viewing the Malcolm posting of the Coby's photo banner, perhaps we should bare our walls of such treasures we hold on to & take some quality life size photos for display & put the real deals to use as intended......but then perhaps not !

 

This hunk of bellhousing had strong clock vibes when I cut it off.

It was it's special purpose. Mike

Really cool wall art! I noticed you have a Proto Los Angeles Tool Panel. I'm a pretty big collector of Proto. I probably have a bunch of those wrenches that are missing from your tool panel if you need some?

Here is something I picked up 18 years ago from a local Automotive Art collector. He told me that a sign painter was commissioned to paint this 22" x 44" on a 3/4" wood panel for the Tokyo auto show. It was to be used for their '50's theme. As it turned out the show personal wanted to see the final product before paying and the sign painter wanted payment before shipping. As a result, the sign was never shipped to Japan, I was able to purchase it for garage art!

I always feel like I'm being watched in my garage. A good friend painted up this all-seeing eyeball to make sure I was working and not just goofing off out there.
