My wife's cousin is a photographer. She asked to use the Falcon as a prop for her Christmas card photo shoots.
We got our pics for free in trade.[IMG]

I own a tux, but I'll admit to wearing greasy jeans and car show t-shirts far more often!

  13. I'm short on photos in formal attire but have one from 42 years ago.

    Hello,

Being teenagers, hot rodders, surfers, and living in a beachy-type town, formal dress is a… what??? Again??? It was a far cry from Levis, white t shirts and Clark’s Desert or Chukka Boots. By the way, these Desert Boots with their crepe soles were the perfect driving shoe as you could feel the all of the pedals perfectly.

But, there are times when we “had” to get formal for various things, weddings of family and friends being the most popular. Here is my brother in his formal attire talking to his friends in a 56 Chevy 4 door hardtop, all going to a wedding back in 1959. I am sitting in the shotgun seat also in my formal attire. For us, there weren’t too many times throughout high school, but later on in the early 60’s, it just seemed like people were getting married like it was going out of style. I was very proud that I could tie a double Windsor knot and it was perfect. My brother could only tie the standard, simple knot and was always envious of my cool double or full Windsor knot. Brotherhood competition …
