  1. I wonder if there are more modified Topolino,s in the U.S.A. than originals ?

  3. I've been into Topolinos since the early 60's, and really nutso for the last 10 years. In all my dealing with the little mouses, I believe there are less than a dozen restored cars in the US. There are probably a few unrestored cars floating around, but it's only a matter of time before a hot rodder buys them.

The best and rarest one I've found is in the St Louis area. The photo's speak for them selves.

I lived in Italy for a few years in the 70's. Topo's were everywhere. Woodies, coupes wagons!!
Went back there last year.....didn't see one! Totally pissed.

  6. Well Pete I do a "any country" Topolino search on E-bay every few days. There are always several there, but it would seem that they have finally moved from daily transportation to collector cars. Over the last 5 years prices have more than tripled. I bought my Furgone (sedan delivery) about 3 years ago from a seller in France for $700. It had been listed as a Simca, and sort of fell between the cracks as I was the only bidder.

Now for some Alterds.... I've included an Opel GT because many were put in the Altered rather than Gas Class due to not being a true 4 passenger vehicle. The Topolino with paddle tires show's that they can wind up in almost every class of competition.

  18. Wow, I remember seeing that car in the magazines when I was a kid, really made an impression on me, I did not realize that was a Texas car. Does anyone know what happened to this car?
