Show Off Your Gasser!!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by First On Race Day, Apr 24, 2007.

  1. It still had race paint and lettering when it first hit the road. 327, 4 spd, 5.57 Olds rear end. This was the first time I raced it. It only ran low 12's but had a wicked launch for a street car.....

When I saw this... It reminded me of an Anglia I saw last year at the CHRR.

Man this thread kicks butt. That Anglia is soooo sweet! Hey T-Roy...did it run? How well?

My stuff is crap, not much progress, pulled the motor back out and threw my worthless glass front end on just to see how it looked. Here it is from the outside.

After I ditch a leaf or two up front and put the motor in it will settle down some. Right now it is crazy high and impossible to see out of.

You guys keep posting stuff. I know there are a bunch of gasser threads, but this one seems to be above the rest. Cool stuff.

    Awesome pics fellas!

F Troop, your stuff is bitchin'! The Prock & Howell car is one of my favorite favorites! The psychedelic paint, perfect.

Saw that car there too. If you look close at the picture there is a hole in the windshield. He had the clutch come apart in the lights.

Heres my old 55. Sold it last fall. Starting to hurt now, as I was planning on having it at Mokan this year. Gary

Damn kill switch is the best part on that car! "10 or a 2" If I'm paying SoCal money every F(*&$ part of that car better be a 10!

I don't know if this is a Gasser or an A/FX? Strait axle and soon to have fender well headers. Did my first wheelie in it tonight.
