Few more cool gassers!!
This is unreal!!!! Great Job!!!
Does the trans get real hot?
Thanks, Glad you appreciate the work that went into it!!
And to answer your question;
Yes it does!! You will note the footrest mounted on the gearbox, It got too hot to just rest my foot on the gearbox!! (Chrysler 833 behind the 350)
It is not a nice car to drive.....fun but not "nice"!!! Hot, noisey, droning blower whine echoes throughout the alloy interior, bumpy, cant see, heavy clutch, when the Detroit locker bangs in and out, you can feel it through the whole car! ( Everything is solid mounted).....its perfect!!!!!
A friend of mine said that if you build a hotrod and it is nice to drive then you have done something wrong!!! I agree
Real hotrods should push the limits of everything!!!! Sorts the men out from the boys so to speak!!
Ah Yes, Don Moyer and what he does best and that is hanging the hoops and running the hell out of the Rebel Reaper. Don is a great showman to nostalgia racing.
Here is mine. Hopefully when it's finished it will do what Rebel Reaper is doing!
