I know that we've been looking for Tazhogs old Merc. I took
this pictures years ago at the KKOA Hangin Dice show in Ft. Smith,
Ark. Not krazy about the late model bumper.

    Anybody seen this one lately?

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

  20. Dangit, Mick!!! That photo brings back a flood of good (and bad) memories. Man, there were some real "winners" back then (along with a lot of good stuff too).

I wish that I took a picture of the interior. If my memory is correct, the interior
was made out of Grandma's old couch material. It was one koool show and hard
to beat the Hangin Dice show when it was at full throttle........good times!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

That is a cool Merc, it's got some original touches. I do like how the front bumper matches the shape of the parking light housing. I messed around and thought how about no tell tale rubber bumpers on the bumper? It didn't work out so great but I might as well post it anyways.

    51Mercules,
Everytime I see your HAMB name I think of that show car with the same name. Do you own the Mercules?

I like the Hemi in your new ride. How were those hooked up? To the Merc tranny or with the Hemi tranny?

She is 100% better then running it with the rubber bumper guards. I think that she has
potential has a Derosa looking front end treatment. Thanks for posting the photoshop'd
    improvements....

Sorry Mike, I tweeked your bumper, changed the hub caps, deleted the side mirror and
had to lower it some more.

Boy do I feel stupid. I kan't believe that I over looked it.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

On the blue car he was referencing those definately aren't Merc bumpers.

  28. I had a feeling those weren't Merc bumpers. They almost look like early 80's Olds 88 or 98 bumpers.

I remember that car....went to a lot of Leadsled Spectaculars. I believe it was diesel powered?????? Anyway, I remember hearing that the owner/builder had passed away, perhaps the late 80's early 90's. Don't know what happened to the car, though.
