Here's a few pics of my '48. Last one from this spring, hood was off only because I had just finished rewiring it.

Looks like a lot of inspiration here. Gettin closer on the F-1, but still finding a lot more to do. Gonna be a warm weekend with a bit of sun, better get out to the garage.

  14. Picked these up a couple weeks ago. Went to look at one and the guy really wanted me to have the 2nd one too.

Your daughter is a cutie,I hope she can say truck better than my son at that age. Just use your imagination. My first 50 had my sons name on drivers door and daughters on pass side. That was back in the day when Ill. trucks had to have owners name and city on both doors. How may can remember that fact?

Here is our Father -Son project started in 2004 and now a reliable driver. We did a complete tear down and replaced and restored as necessary. Since that time Jake enlisted in the army and served 12 months in combat and was sent to Italy where he will be stationed for the next 3 months and then be sent to Ft. Bliss in Elpaso where he will finish out his 5 year term.It was one of the best times to be able to teach him all the in and outs of restoreing the old truck and now being able to see him at the wheel again all safe and sound for this Christmas. Its one of the most rewarding projects I have done in my life.

Update on this old Ford, all the metal work is finished, the mechanicals are wrapped up, and as of this week it has a new owner. Should be a neat truck when finished.
