The thing is i really don't need the money or room for this other pickup but i promised the wife that if i get it i will sell the 5w coupe.
Like everyones responses I know i will regret it if i sell but i have also always wanted a pickup thats my problem.

By the way i still have another 34 coupe in the shed

i say keep the car and the 351, i have one in my 34 and drive it hard and most of these with the chevolet motors don't want none of it, besides it makes a good conversation piece

if ur like me, i dont like 34 5 windows...its only looks good as a 3 window.
5 windows only look good on 32's and model a's or plymouth dodge

but i would sell it since im in no rush and wait for a nicer body to come along.

So this is not really about the car but a "promise" to the wife that is unrealistic and in direct conflict with a serious hobby of yours? If a woman would hold you to that "promise" you will have bigger issues down the road. And if you would honor that "promise" than the issue is about something other than the car. I think we need a Dr Freud here to tell you to keep the car and enter couseling.
