Hey guys. So my boss just bought a bunch of property and this was stashed in a barn on it. He said I could have it if I wanted. I'm going to head up north to look at it next week. I know its a shoebox ford but what year is it? 49? 50? It looks like it had the first steps of an attempted paint job, then the old owner lost interest in it. I know there are hurdles with getting a title and all that crap, but the guy who owned the property said if he finds the title he will sign it over. The old owner and the new owner of the property its on just want to see it go away. I know its a crew cab, but I don't think these cars look terrible as 4 doors. I'm gonna see if the flat head will turn over when I head up there. I don't have a ton of space at my house, and my 2 car garage is being taken up by a frame off project. We have a big driveway and I guess it could go under a cover until I get it running. My question is, how bad would it have to be for it to not be a good deal? Or am I an idiot and I need to go get it asap?
Well, even if it's a ground up build... You could always flip it, right? It'd be pure profit. Or would your boss expect to see you pull up in it eventually? Those may be result in two different decisions! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
What !! Free ? Of course.....get it. Project sale, or part out.....you're good !! Titles are no big deal. Title service. Cheap.
Title is pretty easy to come by if its out of the system. Title it, primer it, and drive or sell it. I wouldn't hesitate to grab it.
You could part that out, not get a title, and make a killing, which could be put towards what you really want. Just sayin'.
Yeah, I'm thinking I'd have it sold in short time and have the new buyer pick it up. Never touch it and grinning all the way to the bank. Not the river bank either.
you are on the HAMB and have to ask this question ???? Id have been getting a friends ramp truck before the guy finished the sentence .
