Technical Shoebox Ford OD Solenoid Help

    I have a good 1951 Ford three speed OD trans that is missing the OD Solenoid.
    I recently picked up a few in a parts buy and need some help identifying if they will work. Car is 6 Volt.
    Here are a few pics of two of them.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    You can check if they are good by wire one to ground and touch the other nut with hot it should activate.the black one doesn’t look familiar to me I have a 51 merc with od more like the steel colored one

  4. I think the one with 2 holes might be GM. Only one hole activates the solenoid.
