What is the scoop on using Stencils to do flames?
Pros-They come out consistant
Cons-They come out consistant....they LOOK like a stencil was used.
one I did.
i think using stencils to do flames is like using stickers for pin stripes.
This said, i dig "The Gold Digger" thats how that car is called right?
And Bob, your other son old shoebox, the one in satin black w/ gold flames, that car was pretty neat. and weird too, but in a good way.
Gotta have flames if it's a hot rod!
Mine used to have Flames.
If it wasnt for the grille i'd say it was Sellers 'box. Very simialr color and flames.
This photo was taken in 1996 and is of a very early sectioned shoebox now for sale in FL.
It's now all black with blue wheels.
What color/brand are those flames? I like it with the black and white, they look good together.
Me and my dad just did our first flame job a couple of months ago. The flames were free handed using 1/8in masking tape. They still need to be pin striped. Sorry for all of the shit in the background it my grandparents place......What do you guys think?
