Greetings! Just to set things straight, a week ago bought what was left of the '51 Merc and the '60 Chevy, was going to get more but Alpha recycling came and put him under contract for the rest. Yes, the cars were picked over, but a lot of what was removed was chrome trim pieces and whatnot, which isn't an issue when it comes to customizing a shoebox. I simply hate to see cars like this wasted, estimate at least 75-100 cars, vast majority shoeboxes, he took a part here and a part there which means there weren't any complete cars but about a quarter are solid builders, just have to buy two or three to make one. He was worried about dying and leaving his wife with a big mess, I understand but disagree on his approach to solving the problem, should have had a big sale first. He believes he can get big money from his parts inventory and web domain but at the same time is filling the cars with all the flea-market goodies he's collected over the years. Do you have some special gripe with Chris? Seems like those who have done business with him think highly of him, but your posts have all been negative.
