Got a quick question......... what percentage of the shock travel should be used on the compression side? Building a light weight '29 roadster, no fenders, small block with stick trans. The last 4 cars I have built have not had shocks. Can't handle the bumps anymore. Haven't mounted the brackets yet so I don't know the length I need. Just need this info so I know what size to get. Any info appreciated. Thanx.... Norm

    Hi Norm
You need to center it to the movement of suspension travel.

2/3 down stroke is the norm with 1/3 compression left.
