I want to ship some engine components (Condenser, compressor, ductworks, manifold) from the Atlanta area (Alpharetta) to California but my seller isn't interested in crating or packing it for me. The option is for him to take it to the local UPS/Fedex store and have them pack it and steal my wallet. I am looking for a cheaper way to do it. I shipped an engine with a trucking company for the price of shipping an intake manifold w/carbs with Fedex ground (a little exaggeration, but not by much). The catch is my shipment must be on a pallet or crated for the truckers. I am afraid the crating folks are as bad as Fedex/UPS. Is there a cheaper/ more creative way?

I will need input in the next 24 hours.

  2. Short notice .... ;)

I have room from Atlanta west along I-40 to Bakersfield, CA
then north to Fresno & continuing to Portland, OR

I just dropped off in Dallas

Regarding container(s) - best thing to do is get plastic large
tool/storage lockers at Walmart or Home Depot

You can PM me or call me at (260) 570-7286
