Technical Shifter spring and dust cap

    I recently rebuilt my top shift 3 speed, I added a cool old shifter this evening. However the spring and dust cap that holds it down is too small. Where would I order new ones?

    I did call but they are closed until the new year.

    Doesn't the piece in your second photo just fit up inside the piece in your third photo that is threaded on there? It also looks like a larger diameter section has been welded onto the shifter, so the cup part won't slide down over it correctly.

    Yes but the shifter is to fat for the piece in the second photo to get anywhere near the threaded portion. Starting to thing someone made this shifter.

    That is somebody’s home brew. Doesn’t look like you could order another original part that will fit it. Maybe just bore the center hole on the cap you have?
