I am building a street freak style Chevy II. I am trying to use a Borg Warner Super T10 trans. The shifter bolts to a plate on the side of the trans. It makes the shifter stick up out of the floor way too far and the linkage hits the tunnel real bad. Is there a shifter installation kit for the Borg Warner to Chevy II? I don't want to cut anymore of the hump than I have to.

i know the Muncie transmissions had a specific tailhousing to cure that problem. As the car is narrower than the rest,it is a tight fit.You might also be able to find a four speed hump from one of the restoration places to ease the pain. You're probably going to have to hunt around to find what you need.
