Hey guys I need some input

I am casting some shifter balls, solids, glitter, and T handles, skulls.

Although I know we can drill and thread our own, I want to cast a threaded insert into them. I know 3/8 16 is standard on a Hurst, I am needing to know what sizes are on you shifters. I am guessing that a 1/2-20 will be the best and I can provide an adapter with the ball.

Also truck drivers please chime in too. What thread does a Kenworth, Peterbilt use?

    Any help is appreciated.

I believe the '39 Ford shifters are 5/16 UNF.
