  1. Just dug out my poor old girl after a 10 year slumber in the back of my shop.
V8 60 hp , 40 front and rear with volvo disc brakes on the front , soon to be hamb friendly brakes though !!!
Not running , but was when it was put there , master cylinder is dry as well .
Will get it home soon , didnt bring the trailer today . Had to move 20 skids of materials outside to get her out ...

I love that. I bet it got plenty of looks when a stock looking T goes by with a nice V8 exhaust burble.

  14. Confuse's people even more when you open the hood as most people have never seen a v8 60 hp flathead .

  18. There was a "stock" Model A coupe with a V8 60 kicking around here for a few years. I always thought that was a cool combination, but a V8 60 in a T tub is cooler!

  28. For better or worse, I have them on both ends of my roadster.
Certainly not "trad" by today's standard, but it was cutting edge back when the how-to article came out in R&C. And it WILL stop.

  29. Got a few pictures of the brakes , my father put these on the car in the early 80s , never did ask what year or model .
I will be removing the wheels to service the brakes , although I may put the 40 drums back on the axle .
Never looked closely today but appears the brackets are welded to the spindles

I wouldn't change a Damn thing with the brakes... They look original to the car imo, it's not sum metric speedway "stuff", Awesome car!
