Been trying to do this for over a month.

Mocked it up to see exactly how much of a channel I wanted, for both looks and useability. Looks like it will be around 5".

Nice chop how much do you have out of that thing ?

  9. Looks awesome...Fantastic stance! I love C-dans!

Hey - I think this car would be a great candidate for the same thing i'm doing on my dodge pickup. How about welding the floor to the Bottom of the frame (like a vw pan) to help offset the floor space lost by the channel? The trans and driveline will then be inside the cabin (of course you will still need to build a tunnel).

My dodge is undergoing a 7" chop and a 6" channel. Interior space was looking sad untill I decided to go this route.

Again - that car looks bitchin!

Looks great! Any idea how much it'll settle once it's finished?
I imagine your rockers will be a couple inches lower.

yeah, right now the rear coilovers aren't mounted. It is held up by jackstands. Also the weight of the motor will hopefully bring down the front.

Right now it is 10.5" from the bottom of the body to the ground, so it should be around 8-9" with all the weight and my fat ass in it. :D
