anyone know where they shave tires in socal near la or orange county, inland empire? just bought a 53 plymouth and it brought pinner whitwalls that are pretty much brand new but want the white wall wider.
I had mine done at Welchs tire on main st in San Diego a few years back. It might be a little ways south for you though. Might be worth the call. Cesar
Im in nor-cal but read your thread ,when i went to get some shaved whites the guy that owner/runs the tire shop here and also a local hot rodder told me that the "raised white letter tires" produce bigger white walls instead of "pinner white tires" that produce smaller , a raised letter set i had done came out to 2 3/4" ......Dont know how wide your expecting but Just letting you know if your trying to get a wide white may not be worth spending the money to shave pinners.
