We shaved the doors on the wayfarer and for last summer, we just left the wing windows open to get in because the 35 lb solenoids we had wouldn't pull the latches. Well, we finally got some 75 lb solenoids and they do the job, but now I have to figure out an emergency entry cable in case the transmitters quit working or the battery's dead. My question is, what do you guys use for this purpose? We had an emergency entry "kit", but the cable was a piece of crap and didn't work at all to pull the latch. I think I read something about using bicycle cables for the job, but what do you use to hold the ends of the housing? Any pictures would help. I know lots of you guys have done this before, so thanks in advace.
