Here's an idea, get someone that does the vehicle wraps and see if they can match the color of the rims and cover the body stripe in red. Having the red rims with the light brown body and then the darker brown body line is one too many colors. Match one or the other and the colors will work.
Nice car, don't chop if your keeping the fenders, I haven't seen one that has been done right.

Some updates on my Sedan........I have a 2" drop axle ready to install. T spring is on the way for the back. Rims are coming off and will be powder coated black or dark brown...

Stromberg 97 on the way....and a set of Gear Drive Headers ........ and intake.... I'm thinking a 4" chop......Sorry guys......I have to do it.

Here is how I spent my weekend.

  17. I'm all for seeing it chopped. Black rims would be my pick for wheel color, and then a flathead. As its not my car, do it to how you want it, and you're on the right track. I love what yourve done so far. Personally, I think the stock roof height looks horrible.

  18. Hell yeah......showcase your tools and chop the shit out of everything please! Chop it all! Can't wait......

I dont think youll be happy with just a 2 inch dropped axle. Especially if you drop the top 4" ,but if you already bought it try or add to your pile of parts to resell. You keeping the horn? Im looking for one. Good luck

Shane, nice meeting you at SEMA. Now I know what you were talking about when you mentioned the Model A. I personally love a good chop, but you have to please yourself above all else. Keep on...

The rear tire size throws me off with everything else being so stock. It'll probably look more at home tucked into the fender a bit.

Still, nice little project. Nice work.
