Thanks for including my '52 Chevy Pickup (Rustzilla) not only once but twice in your coverage.

Thanks for the pics. I went also, between the show and what stays in town there is something for everyone. And yeah the traffic sucks.

    Can you say volume control?

After about the first minute I had to exercise my right to kill the sound.

Still loved the coverage. Just don't what to look like I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth you know...............:D

Yes but for me anyway ... it is fast coming a Camaro/Chevelle/Mustang festival. Way too many non HAMB rides ( damn late models  )

    NOTE :
Most everything built and WWII is a late model.

  20. Trucked Up, what you said about traffic is a UNDERSTATEMENT, we used to live in Sevierville, and on the weekends, like any weekend you wanted to go somewhere, you had better strapped the family to a 4 wheeler, or taken dirt bikes through the woods, or something. Beautiful area, but you have to like sitting in traffic, worst than a big city.

  21. I enjoyed the show,,,and your slid show.

I also saw my Black pickup with my overgrown self behind it,no wonder folks ask me how I drive it!:D

As for traffic,,I have been to ALL of the Shades of the Past shows and have learned ALL the back roads and alleys,,,I have also learned to wait for about an hour after the saturday give away and drive out to one of the main roads without being in any traffic at all,,,then find those back roads. The traffic is tough. Luckily us locals can beat most of the traffic. About 50% of the rides have left and a new crop comes in for this weeks Grand Run. Hard to imagine this area with 5000 hot rods in it. There will probably be about 2000 for sale this week. Worlds largest used car lot I would say. No photos this week as I am going to NHRA in Charlotte.

Yep, WE had some Yankee invaders. One of them had his number drawn for the Alloway built deuce roadster giveaway and left 3 hours before the drawing. Take it easy.

Sure glad he left. I was another Yankee invader and had the winning registration number.
Now Brutus has a garage mate.
