  2. Touche' Dddenny! That was just the easiest argument. Maybe he should instead look up specs on 56 Plymouth Fury.

  3. No such thing as a Plymouth first generation Hemi. Not from Chrysler anyhow....

I don't know anything about it. It was a yard sale find.

Some of the 56 and 57 Vette's had 9 fin valve covers; most were 7 fin. Of course, I have both 7 and 9 fin in staggered pattern, some 7 fin in straight across patterns, some Mickey Thompson in both staggered and straight patterns; the staggered pattern M/T's look a little off due to an extra boss for the bolts. Then I have a pair of Canadian Pontiac, SBC, valve covers that have PONTIAC embossed on them; those only came in staggered, 55-57, that I'm aware of. By the way, my 9 fin Corvette valve covers are absolutely the filthiest valve covers I've ever handled, both inside and outside are just really dirty/greasy. I hope all that crud is't hiding something. I am Butch/56sedandelivery

Found these at a yard sale, hated letting them go but I had nothing to put them on and needed the cash for parts I could use

These are early hemi valve covers and they didn't put a gen one hemi in Plymouths from the factory...Only in Dodges, Desotos and Chryslers...These were custom made covers...Nice job but not factory...

They're actually "cam covers"... Not valve covers on a cammer 427.....
