That reminds me of the pictures that my dad would draw when I was a kid... Love it!

Thank you Gary, much appreciated. I took a long look at your entry this week ......I must say you are an awesome artist. The strong lines of the car and the delicate touch to the background is really inspiring work.

Clydsdale - Awesome work, beautiful presentation as well!
Zombie - Great prismacolor work as always!
NateGreco - Very original and top notch as usual!

I did a lot of off topic design stuff this week, but this is about the only thing that kind of fits...

Great work this week so far. Everything I worked on this week, I can't really show.

Nice! Does that get printed in 4 color process on the shirt?

Redline, tell your boy, that is brilliant!

Thanks for all the kind words on my contribution today. I'm happy just to be seen in the same "art show" as some of the amazing talent around here.

As far as printing, the art is silk screened onto shirts using spot colors to get good saturation. The full version of the design that '32 Muroc is used in ended up with 9 colors, including white.

Does the printer convert the gradations to screens or do you do that?

Ok, I DO have one thing I can show. I designed the quarter panel on this Mustang for next week's Nationwide race.

I finally finished painting the upright bass I recently picked up. Both my parents are veterans and I hang out with alot of VFW and American Legions guys and wanted to do something fun with it. I also will be asking vets i meet at shows to sign my bass with their rank and branch if they feel so inclined.

Whats the story on the 37s paint? Was something added to the primer or was it sanded down to that? One of the sweetest colors I've seen.

Norwell did the illustration of the '32, yes. But I have done all the design work associated with the program, which includes print ads, tin signs, banners, posters, entry cards, tshirts, and now, this NASCAR Mustang.
