when i joined semasan, i got an e-mail back from a guy named jason. he asked me to send him 10 pics. of my car, a story about the car, and how /when /why i got the car. well, i wote it all up and sent him 10 pics like he asked. in short, he used my story for the august newsletter. The writer, shortened my story, left out details, and changed it around to make it sound more appealing (i guess). the story is in part, correct, but he changed alot of the stuff around. and, even tho he asked for 10 pics, he only used one. that's the way it goes sometimes like with photo shoots. they may take 200 pics, and only use the best 5. anyway, here's a link if anyone is interested in reading it. i'm not trying to toot my own horn or anything, i just think it's pretty cool that he actually used my car and my story for the newsletter. http://www.semasan.com/main/main.aspx?id=62449
Jaosn is a top notch guy- a personal friend for as many years as he has been involved with SEMA. He will submit your stuff but ultimatley its the editor who needs to make it fit within where it needs to be. Cool thing though-congrats
