After 25 years I came across an old build of mine , had 413 wedge .it's not traditional like I built it...was at the the Good guys in 92 and Gary Meadors was into it , was black primer , steelies with baby moons , tailights were from vintage search lantern , amazing how the next guy can fudge up a build IMHO ...where's your old build.... 4. HEY! Did that car use to be red? Was at the Street Rod Nats in Columbus, Ohio in about 87? If so, I remember the driver wearing mirror shades and had a hot blonde with him......that you?

I owned a '27 roadster back in late '80's that was kinda HAMB friendly ,(except for the engine, radials, and dash....engine was covered by hood though). The guy I sold it to loved it, and wanted to make all kind of street rod radical changes to it!!!!:( Cash talks though (although he never sent me the $45 he owed me cause I didn't want him to be too short on his drive back to Va:mad:)

The "T" bucket I built in the mid 60's is still sitting in a million pieces in my shop, awaiting it's next re-construction.

The T bucket which I built in 62 is still sitting in my shed, registered and driveable. Doesn't get driven though as I've got a 32 5 window which is much more comfortable LOL

I was 19 at the time and took the word of the steel supplier on Minneapolis's "near north side" that the 2X2 1/8" wall tubing I bought was "plenty strong" for the main frame members. It was for 4 or 5 years and several thousand miles.

I was going to suggest that it is time that you took those "millions of bits" and returned them to their mid 60's configuration but a T bucket is not an ideal hot rod for us over 70's LOL

I love the color, but those ugly wheels and the zoomies would have to go. A set of Torque Thrusts even with those tires would improve the looks 100% along with some lakes roadster style headers.. And what's up with that funky air cleaner? That hole through the hood is just begging for a polished aluminum scoop!

Built this local 48 GM in the 70s as a teenager and now 40yrs later it has changed with new drivetrain, wheels and colour but it's still the same car. What was I thinking back then! FX 1.jpg 48-.jpg

I'll look for the photos of my old chopped '29 Tudor, guy that finished it turned it into something so far away from my plans it was sad to look at. Bob

I'm still drivin' the wheels off of it; see my avatar. Bought in '73, drove with flathead power 'til '92; chopped top and revamped drivetrain/stance and continued puttin' miles on it by the thousands.

My T-Bucket I built (aka The Peter Beater) was sold to a guy in Salina, KS right about 2010-11. Kinda lost track of it. Wonder if he still has it.
