  5. You've got that right...! I've been Jonesing ever since I sold the Roadster...!;)

But this is how I expected you to drive across the U.S. !!!

I figure it would've taken you about 29 hours to get to Washington State... Hahaha!

Hey Brian, man....what you are doing is also a dream of mine. I can't wait until we get our plans together for a "cross-country-drive" in our Model A.

Just got done reading all your posts Bass, and I'm freakin' jealous! You must be having the time of your life! I can just imagine how surreal it must be, just you an your Model A, nice open roads, and just the roar of the hemi! I can't wait for the chance to get to do this. Thanks for taking all of us along with you!

This is what I get for not checking the Jalopy Journal for the last few days.

I wish I had known you were in Amarillo, and more specifically, downtown! I would have loved to see your car rolling through. I can't remember that guy's name with the green Ford, but I do remember having a conversation with him about it. The newest part on that thing were the Jag front disc brakes from the early 70's!

Pretty sweet knowing someone of your caliber would actually stop here and shoot the bull for a while. I also agree.. Bob Owens <- the geniune article.

These kind of posts (and the build threads) are what I love so much about the HAMB.. Keep them coming!

I've been unmotivated lately reference my Model A as I just haven't had the funds and with another child on her way I was putting the 31 on the back burner. But now I just want to get the darn thing down and work on it! Bass this is awesome. Great pictures and great narrative so far. The return trip will be so fun, you won't have a time line at all.

Looks great Brian, see you again in Bville

  28. Is 2011 the year the HAMB calendar changes to landscape instead of portrait? Make sure you take some pictures with the camera turned 90 degrees on the trip back.
Not only can this man lay down a TIG weld that looks like a work of art, he can write and take photos to match. Viva la HAMB
