THAT is awesome!! Where did you find that fabric?

  5. I've told the story several times but the condensed version is my Mom bought the material on sale at Sears & Roebuck in 1964 to make curtains and my Dad said "Not no,,but HELL NO",,that's the ugliest material he had ever seen.

Many years later after both my parents had passed away we were cleaning out the house we found the bag containing the fabric and we took it home where it languished for another 15 years or so.

I needed something temporary for the truck and I thought,,why not,,so it's been temporarily in the truck for 5 years now!:D

My pal Chopper called it "Fruit Salad" and it kinda stuck. HRP

I have a couple of bucket seats out of a '67 Mustang in my T-bucket. A little worn but fully functional and comfortable. I like being able to flip the backs forward to utilize the space behind. That's where my wife and I carry our law chairs when we go to our cruise-ins.

  8. My interior in the 1950 shoebox. One inch tuck and roll in oxblood red with white piping. Only things left now is the headlining which will be white with oxblood red piping and a pair of Ford 1950 Deluxe 2dr stainless trim strips for the door sides.
So anyone who might have a pair of the stainless trim give me a PM :D

Here's mine in the 59 Apache. Ordered a seat cover online, tore the mouse house out of the old spings and frame. Fixed some springs, painted both halves, new burlap hog ringed to the springs, cotton batting on the back portion and 2" medium density on the base. stretched the premade cover on and hog ringed it. No bouncing, smooth feel. A little sunshine and the wrinkles at the top from being folded in a box on a brown truck for a week and its all good

Here are a few ideas. Some are copies or originals done by good upholstery crafts persons.
