the only thing I'm considering sourcing out on my 56 f100 is the bench seat, what would you guys think a price range would be to have new foam and either black leather or durable black fabric in a basic diamond pattern from an upholster shop?

Front & rear back seats in my '66 Fairlane convertible and my '35 Chevy phaeton. Plain and simple in OEM pattern. My '46 Olds will look like this when done, OEM trim and pattern thanks to hamptoncoach

I have these original 50 Chevy panel seats that will be going untouched into the 31 Chevy Sedan Delivery. Well I will probably wipe them down with soap and water  or maybe not?

Original 39 Chevy coupe seat. Removed the springs and rebuilt up with foam. Comfortable as hell.

Interior shots of my 1936 Chevrolet truck. I found these seats on Craig's List. I believe they were from a Pontiac Fiero. I cut off the head rests, cut down the sides and then had them re-upholstered with the rest of the interior work. By cutting off the head rests I was able to make the seats shorter so they would tuck under the body molding below the rear window. This allowed the seat to be moved back a couple of inches and gain some valuable space. Trimming the sides of the seats allowed room for a cup holder and a lift lid storage compartment between the seats.

In our 62 Rambler Classic sw we put 98 Pontiac Boni seats.
Front driver is power. Rear from Boni was carved up on the sides to clear the wheelwells. Ran the 2012 Hot Rod Power Tour with them. 4000 miles of comfort.
The car was my partner in crimes car going to be scrapped.

Nothing to fancy here in my 26 T, but it beats the ol Mexican blanket.
